Trusted Union Limited is a licensed insurance broker company in Hong Kong and is regulated by the Insurance Authority (“IA”) under the Insurance Ordinance (Cap. 41).

Our role

As a licensed insurance broker company, Trusted Union advises and assists clients in understanding their insurance requirements and, where appropriate, sourcing and arranging insurance solutions from insurers.

Licensed insurance brokers act for policyholders and prospective policyholders rather than being appointed to represent an insurer.

Remuneration

Trusted Union Limited may receive remuneration from insurers in connection with insurance policies arranged for clients and may, where applicable, charge fees agreed with clients.

Where Trusted Union will receive remuneration from an insurer in respect of an insurance transaction, the relevant remuneration disclosure will be made in accordance with applicable requirements.

Clients may request further particulars regarding remuneration received in connection with their insurance transaction.

CIB membership

Trusted Union Limited is also a member of the Hong Kong Confederation of Insurance Brokers (“CIB”), membership No. 0521.

CIB is an insurance industry body. The Insurance Authority is Trusted Union’s regulator.

Complaints

Trusted Union takes complaints regarding our services seriously.

If you wish to make a complaint, please contact us through our Contact page. We will review and respond to complaints fairly and in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.

If a complaint cannot be resolved to your satisfaction, we will advise you of the appropriate avenue for further consideration, including referral to the Insurance Authority where relevant.
